Welcome to my lake life! Join me as I share about my family, including our three grandsons, life on the lake, sewing, and all things Early Childhood.
I currently live on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Leesburg, Florida with my wonderful husband of 32 years! We have a daughter and son-in-law who live in Minnesota, and three grandsons. I love living lakefront and enjoy all that comes with that; boating, swimming (yes we swim in the lake despite the gators!), and all of the wildlife. I also love to sew, and with young grandsons, I am often sewing fun things for them. I am newly retired from a life of education. My passion has been early childhood education having taught first grade, kindergarten, and worked in administration overseeing preschool programs. Our daughter, a licensed clinical counselor, who has specialized in working with children, will join me on this blog as we post about early childhood development and fun developmental activities.
One of my dreams is to find and purchase a lake house in Minnesota to be closer to family when it is not bitterly cold up there. I hope you will follow me on this journey!
